Terms of Service

1. About PickupAI

PickupAI ("we", "us", "our") is operated by PickupAI ABN XX XXX XXX XXX. Our registered address is in New South Wales, Australia. We provide an AI-powered phone answering and lead-capture service for trade businesses ("the Service").

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Australian business registration (ABN or ACN) to use the Service.

3. Account Registration

When you create an account you agree to provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Free Trial & Subscription

• New accounts receive a 14-day free trial starting when card details are submitted.
• After the trial, your card is charged monthly at the current plan rate (see the upgrade page for pricing).
• All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include 10% GST.
• Founding-price discounts, if offered, apply for the stated duration and then revert to the standard rate.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

• You may cancel at any time through the dashboard billing portal. Your service remains active until the end of the current billing period.
• We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.
• If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us within 14 days at hello@getpickupai.com.au.

6. The Service

PickupAI answers incoming phone calls on your behalf using AI voice technology, captures lead details, and sends you an SMS and/or email summary. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. In the event of service disruption, calls may be handled by a voicemail fallback.

7. Data & Call Recordings

• Calls may be recorded for quality and dispute-resolution purposes. Callers are informed at the start of the call.
• Lead details (name, phone number, address, job description) are stored in your dashboard and may be exported.
• We process data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose, including robocalling, spam, or deceptive practices.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, our total liability is limited to the fees you have paid in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue from missed calls.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or dashboard notification at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.
